New or reissued cards: Newly issued debit cards must be activated before October 14th. If a card has not been activated before this date, you will need to wait until October 28th. To activate a card starting October 28th, please call 877-445-0638 instead of the number on the new card.
PIN updates: From October 14-28, we will not be able to set or change any PINs associated with your debit or ATM card. Starting October 28th, you will need to call the new activation number 877-445-0638 to set up or change your PIN.
Debit card system maintenance: During the period of October 25-28, debit card transactions will be processed, but some information may not be displayed in online banking or our mobile app right away.
Our ATM machines may be periodically unavailable from October 28-November 1.* To minimize disruption for cash withdrawals, every effort will be made to avoid multiple machines being offline at the same time. During this time period:
*Maintenance on the ATM located at our Catawba branch will begin on Wednesday, October 23. The machine will be available for cash withdrawals only until November 1.
Our mobile banking app allows check deposits anytime, anywhere and will not be affected by this maintenance period. In addition, you can transfer funds, pay bills, plus send and receive secure messages with the bank. Mobile banking is available to Peoples Bank customers at no charge (text and data rates may apply.)
