Text Banking

Check balances and make transfers with simple text commands, no app required

No app? No problem! Peoples Bank lets you bank with quick SMS/Text messages.

Use your text-capable mobile phone to quickly check a balance or see transaction history for your accounts. Text Banking does not require our mobile app and once you’re enrolled there’s no additional login required. Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. Enroll and login to online banking
  2. Click the Welcome menu and select All Services & Settings, then click on Text Banking
  3. Click on Text Banking under the Banking Services section
  4. Click the Enroll New Device button, enter your mobile phone number and accept the terms and conditions
  5. The system will send a registration code by text message to the mobile number entered, return to online banking and enter that code to complete the process

The phone number that you will use to send and receive text banking commands is +1 650-235-4590.
 

Available Text Banking Commands

Command Description
B Balance: View available balances for all accounts
H History: View recent transactions per account
C Command: Show available Text Banking actions
HE Help: View help for Text Banking actions
S Stop: Unenroll from Text Banking services
Shortcuts:  
B # View the available balance for a specific account number
H # or HIST # View the transaction history for a specific account number

Terms and Fees

Peoples Bank does not charge for text banking but text and data rates may apply.
You must have an account at Peoples Bank to register for online or text banking.
