The health and safety of our employees, customers and community remains a consistent priority for Peoples Bank. With the recent escalation of the coronavirus, we want to keep you informed of how Peoples Bank is monitoring and responding to ensure we can continue to operate safely and effectively during this time.
We have already put into place numerous safety measures for all of our offices. Our employees are cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas frequently, washing their hands throughout the day and will soon be utilizing disposable gloves for their protection. We are encouraging the use of teleconferencing for both internal and external meetings when appropriate, limiting travel, and strongly encouraging all employees and non-employees to stay home if they are sick. In addition to these measures, we are reducing face-to-face contact as much as possible by allowing many employees to work remotely. We want to ensure you that we remain committed to providing you exceptional service, but we ask for understanding in the event our response time is not as timely, as we accommodate limited staffing to maintain the safety of all.

Our Customer Service area is available to assist you with questions at 828-466-1765 or toll free at 877-802-1212 if you need assistance over the phone and prefer to minimize your own exposure to the public. Additionally, we have provided our bankers with functionality needed to conduct teleconferencing if you need to consult with your local office or banker directly.
We are committed to serving our community, and have made a promise to do the right thing. We currently do not anticipate any interruption in the banking services we provide.
