Winston Salem Loan Production Office Opening April 2022

Officials of Peoples Bancorp of North Carolina are pleased to announce the opening of a new Peoples Bank Loan Production Office in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The new office will be opened for business at 280 Charlois Blvd, Winston Salem, NC in April 2022.
Peoples Bank is prepared and eager to promote this new market area with a focus on becoming a trusted financial partner for local small businesses in the area. The Winston Salem team brings with them a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding commercial lending and business banking and have collectively been working at developing relationships within the community for over 35 years.
Simpson O. (Skip) Brown Jr. joined Peoples Bank in August 2021 as an Area Executive for the Winston Salem office. Skip has extensive experience in the banking industry, even previously serving as President & CEO for seven years with another community bank. He has also worked in the Commercial lending world for a number of years and his expertise and understanding of small business needs and the values of our own community bank will be invaluable. Skip continues to serve his community on several local Boards including, YMCA, Wake Forest University Hall of Fame, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Skip and his wife, Minda have two successful children and enjoy travelling, golf, scuba diving and road cycling in their spare time.
Jim Tobin joined Peoples Bank in November 2021 as a Business Development Officer in the Winston office. Jim also has a vast knowledge and appreciation for what local businesses in this market need from their financial partner and he comes to Peoples Bank with over 36 years of experience prepared to bring the Exceptional Customer Service that we’re known for elsewhere to this new community for us. Jim and his wife, Fancy, have five children and three grandchildren who all reside in North Carolina. Spending time together as a family is a priority for Jim and Fancy and they also remain committed to supporting local businesses in the Triad area.
Kristy Lingerfelt came to the team in August 2021 as the Loan Officer Assistant for the office. Her previous experience as a Mortgage Planning Professional brings a wealth of knowledge to the team in planning and preparing documentation for clients, and assisting them as we develop financial plans to meet their current and future needs. Kristy and her husband, Rob, have three children who keep them busy and running with multiple sports interests. When they are at home, they take care of their rescue dogs and when they do find spare time, they love to travel together.
